The American Student Dental Association is a national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests and welfare of dental students. It introduces students to lifelong involvement in organized dentistry and provides services, information, education, representation and advocacy.

Advocacy
Advocacy is one of the most important aspects of ASDA in regaurds to our career. National Lobby Day is held yearly in Washington, DC to discuss our concerns with our legislators. To get involved on a more local level, contact your chapter's legislative liaison to see what's going on in your state.
